What we're looking for

At inqli, we're building high-performing, self-managed teams and this requires self-awareness, trust & vulnerability, and cohesion. We view roles & responsibilities as dynamic, flexible, and evolutionary just like the humans who fill them. We design roles around the unique and diverse skills, interests, and goals of each individual, rather than trying to fit people into the mould of a role. If you're interested in learning more about what that really means and how it works in human-centred organizations, you can learn more here.

We are searching for a Lead Visual Interaction Designer who will create and bring to life beautiful interactions and experiences through design, prototyping, and storytelling. As a designer with expert knowledge in both visual and experience design, you’ll practice human-centered design to solve complex problems, & create breakthrough experiences, services, and products.

You are a Designer who brings professional working experience, with knowledge in both visual communications design and user experience design methodology. You can zoom in and out, designing at the detail and the system levels. You are eager to practice empathy-led design, grounding in & focusing on the needs and desires of target users in order to make design decisions.

You’ve worked across a variety of digital platforms, and possess strength in applying the principles of visual design (colour, type, grid, hierarchy) to screen-based interfaces. You bring experience building and using prototypes to test assumptions and collect feedback on a design direction. You’re skilled in a range of interactive tools for visual and digital design, as well as prototyping, including new-to-market, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

You have experience in leading multi-disciplinary product teams through a design process. You understand the different stages of design such as research, prototyping, testing, refinement, and know when to apply different methodologies to move the team forward. You have experience closely collaborating with stakeholders, be it in a consultancy context or in-house, to deliver and help lead the team to impact. You thrive in oscillating between leading and doing design.

You are highly collaborative, and maintain a mindset of curiosity and openness when working across teams and functions. You practice curiosity by asking questions, learning through research, talking to experts or others unlike yourself, requesting feedback from others, and seeking out diverse perspectives. You thrive on tackling complex challenges.
